Sonoma County Family, Youth & Children's Services

The Sonoma County Family, Youth and Children'’s Division ensures the safety and well-being of children and youth by providing families with the resources they need, promoting supportive placements and permanency for children and youth and building community connections that empower all members of the community to support the safety of children.

Sonoma County has almost 400 abused and neglected children who cannot safely remain in their parent's care. We have a serious need for foster families to provide safe and loving homes for these children. Other children are in need of adoptive homes. We are in particularly looking for foster families who can take in sibling groups, toddlers, and teenagers.
